Director/CEO

Achere Cole is the Acting Director of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse and Secretary to the Governing Council of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse. She is passionate about teaching ADR, efficient and effective dispute resolution, court docket decongestion, drafting appropriate dispute resolution clauses and efficient and seamless administration of disputes.

Achere has national and regional experience in building ADR mechanisms and capacity as external evaluator and consultant for the court annexed mediation pilot project and the sustaining Judiciary Transformation Blueprint of the Judiciary of Kenya.

She was responsible for providing guidance on next steps for the improvement of access to justice in the Kenyan Judiciary. She was part of the pioneer staff that midwifed the establishment of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse under the Negotiation and Conflict Management Group. She also provided training for Mediators and Staff of the Kaduna and Abia Multi-Door Courthouses under a World Bank assisted project to expand ADR institutions in Nigeria and was part of the team that trained staff of the Kano Multi-Door Courthouse to enable the KMDC start Operations - under the Security, Justice and Growth Programme of the British Council.

Achere co-authored the first Restorative Justice Training Manual in Nigeria for the Rule of Law Anti-corruption (RoLAC) Programme of the British Council with the support of the European Union (EU).

With her vast experience in resolution of disputes through mediation and arbitration as well as the design of Case Management and Dispute Resolution Processes, she has provided Intensive Restorative Justice (RJ) Training for over 300 RJ Facilitators from the Lagos and Edo State Magistracy, Lagos and Edo State Multi-Door Courthouses, Citizens Mediation Centre, Lagos State Ministry of Justice and the Police Force and in 2022 was faculty member for the United States National Institute for Trial Advocacy Capacity Building Program on Trial Advocacy, Ballistics and Restorative Justice.

She holds a master's degree in public policy and management from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and a second master's degree in law from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and is a CEDR UK Accredited mediator. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK, as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC). She is a Restorative Justice Facilitator and Practitioner and also a Member of the Lagos State Restorative Justice Steering Committee.


JUSTINA CHUKWUMA (MRS.), FSM, MNIM

Deputy Director/Head of Corporate Service

Justina Chukwuma (also known as JC) is currently the Deputy Director /Head of Corporate Services of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse where she oversees the activities of several units and programmes including the Admin and HR; Training; ICT; Publicity and Public Affairs; Neutrals Development, and Mentorship Programme.

She is a seasoned Mediator; a Restorative Justice Facilitator; a member of the LMDC Panel of Neutrals and a member of the LMDC Training Faculty. She holds an OND in Secretarial Administration; a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution; Alongside various professional certifications in related fields.

As a strategist, Mrs. Chukwuma is a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria, chartered (ISMNc) and is currently serves as a member of the Institute's Governing Board. She had previously served as Vice Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the Institute; a member of the Dispute Resolution Committee; and as Secretary to the Membership Recertification Committee of the Institute.

JC is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, chartered; the Nigeria Police Force (Supernumerary Unit); the Taekwondo Supporters Club (TSCON) where she currently serves as a member of the National Working Committee; and is the current Vice President of Nwanyibuihe Socio-Cultural Association (NSCA), a global NGO for women empowerment. She is a devoted Christian, a respectful wife and loving mother to many.


KAFAYAT BADEJO

Assistant Director Finance and Account

Kafayat Badejo is the Deputy Director, Finance and Accounts of the Lagos Multi Door Courthouse, the first court-connected ADR center in Africa.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and is a member of various professional bodies including: Association National Accountant of Nigeria ANAN, Fellow Institute of Professional Manager and Administrator of Nigeria FIPMA, and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant ACCA.

Mrs. Badejo is an indigene of Lagos State, from Lagos Island. A dedicated and Resourceful staff of Lagos State Government with many years of experience. She has served meritoriously in various sectors of the Lagos State Civil Service including the Lagos State University Yeaching Hospital, Civil Service Pension office, Ministry of Education, Commerce and Industry, and currently serving with Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse.

Mrs. Badejo is an Accredited Mediator and a trained Restorative Justice Facilitator. She is married with awesome children.


ATOYESE ADEWOPO

Assistant Director Procurement

Toyese Adewopo is the Assistant Director of Procurement at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse. A graduate in Marketing with members in various professional bodies such as Certered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria(CIPSMN), Certered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria(CIMN), Institute of Supply Management(ISM), et cetera.

He is an astute Public Servant with over 20 years of experience and he has served in almost all sectors of the Lagos State Civil Service such as Establishment matters, Pensions, Education, Waterways and presently in Alternative Dispute Resolution's Agency. Adewopo has a track record for consistently meeting goals and delivering a high level of job performance. His knowledge as an accredited mediator has enhanced him to build strong clients relationships. He is happily married with children


MRS. CHIDIMMA NWINEEDAM

Assistant Director, Admin. & HR

Chidimma is a Human Resource and training expert with over 10 years of experience in designing and developing structures in the areas of performance management, key performance indicators, standard operating procedures, human capital development, mentoring programs, talent management, selection & recruitment, employer-employee relationship management among others.

She holds a master's degree in Industrial & Labour Relations and is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Nigeria.

She is an accredited mediator on the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse (LMDC) Panel of Neutrals and also a faculty member of the LMDC. She has mediated several cases with core specialization in workplace and commercial mediations. She is a trained instructor, coach, and assessor.

She particularly enjoys brainstorming sessions and proffering solutions to tough and complicated challenges. She likes to set goals and meet timelines.

Chidimma has designed several human resource processes and policies in addition to designing several training curriculums in Human Resource, Mediation, Personal Effectiveness, Case Management and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

Considering her interest in maximizing software applications to manage Human Resource and ADR Databases, Chidimma is conversant with Database Management Systems (DMS) particularly, the Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration which facilitates data performance, security, backup, accessibility and storage.


MRS. OLUBUSOLA OJO

Assistant Director, Operations

Olubusola Ojo is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) Mechanisms. Residing in Lagos, she currently serves as the Registrar at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse, High Court of Lagos State. Since joining the LMDC in 2010, Olubusola has significantly contributed to its operations, having supervised and efficiently managed over 1000 mediation and arbitration cases. Her proficiency in preparing and reviewing legal documents, managing complex cases, and providing legal solutions adheres strictly to the ethical standards of her profession. She is adept at fostering an environment of continuous improvement and efficiency, collaborating effectively with various departments to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Olubusola holds a robust educational background, including a BL from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from the University of Lagos. She has also earned numerous certifications, such as the CEDR Accredited Mediator and Membership from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK. Her professional journey is marked by significant roles, including Registrar of the LMDC, Ag. Secretary to the LMDC Governing Council, Faculty Member of the LMDC Panel of Neutrals, Secretary to the ADR Judges' Forum, among others. Beyond her administrative duties, she actively contributes as a resource person and facilitator at ADR workshops, showcasing her commitment to the field. Olubusola's leadership, organizational skills, and passion for legal excellence makes her a valuable asset to any team focused on innovative and effective dispute resolution.


MR. ADEYINKA OMOTAYO

Assistant Chief Planning Officer

Adeyinka Modupe Temitayo is currently the Assistant Chief Planning Officer of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Lagos State University (LASU).

An origin of Lagos State, Mr. Adeyinka joined the Lagos State services in August 2010 as planning officer II and was deployed to Ministry of Economic planning and Budget deployed to Ministry of Housing 2019 and in 2022 was deployed to Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse.


ROSEMARY UBAJAKA

ADR Track Ikeja Administrator

Rosemary Ubajaka is a passionate advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and an accomplished project administrator, boasting more than a decade of experience. She has demonstrated a strong proficiency in overseeing the successful implementation of over 20 projects at both state and national levels, from inception to final delivery.

Rosemary was formerly the Administrator of the Lagos Settlement Week (LSW) and the LMDC Restorative Justice Outlet. In her role as Administrator of the LSW Programme, she formulated and developed policies, strategies, and proposals across various sectors of the program.

These sectors encompassed Publicity and Awareness, Training and Workshops, Finance and Accounts, Case and Data Management, as well as Human Resources and Administration.

Rosemary was honored with the Award of Excellence in recognition of her outstanding performance, dedication, and service to LMDC in the Female Senior Officer Category, presented during the LMDC 20th Anniversary celebrations in 2022.

In her tenure spanning 10 years as Administrator of the LSW, the program has successfully resolved 3,370 cases and has grown to incorporate additional projects each year. This expansion has garnered participation from courts, individuals, and corporations, enhancing the program's impact by facilitating amicable resolutions across diverse sectors including commercial disputes, matrimonial matters, and real estate, among others.

Currently serving as the Administrator of the ADR Track Office in Ikeja, Rosemary oversees the screening of all cases filed at the Registry of the High Court of Lagos State, Ikeja Judicial Division, to ensure their suitability for ADR. She also supervises the progression of these cases through each phase until their resolution, alongside other responsibilities.

Rosemary holds a master's degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos; Barrister at Law (B.L) from the Nigerian Law School; Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. She is a CEDR Accredited Mediator UK; Member Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK; Certified Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Practitioner by ODR Europe - ADR Point, Project Management Professional (PMP). She is a faculty member on the LMDC Panel of Neutrals and has extensive experience mediating commercial and real estate disputes. She has also served as Registrar in several arbitrations.


ROLAND OGUDIEGWU ESO

Internal Auditor

Mr. Roland Eso Ogudiegwu is the Resident Internal Auditor of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse from Lagos State Office of Internal Audit (OIA).

He is a seasoned Auditor who is always on top of his job as his concerns are to make sure the LMDC complies with the financial rules and regulations.

Roland joined Lagos State Civil Service on the 18th of August 2018 and has served as an Auditor in the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Primary Health Care Board (PHCB) and presently serving at the Lagos Multi Door Courthouse.

He is a Christian and married. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ogun State, Nigeria.

He is a member of the institute of Strategic Management (ISMN), and had recently trained as a Mediator and a Mediation Advocate at the Lagos Multi-Door Court House.
